Secondary Science

Our middle school students will study General Science using the book Science in the Atomic Age by Berean Builders which teaches modern scientific concepts through historical context and experiments.

Our high school students will study Earth Science, Biology, Intro to Physics, and Chemistry. Earth Science uses the text Discovering Design with Earth Science by Jay L. Wise and covers the general properties of the Earth’s geosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere. Biology uses the text Novare General Biology and will investigate living organisms. Intro to Physics uses the text Introductory Physics by John D. Mays and will focus on the basic principles of physics. Students should be taking Algebra I or a higher-level math when taking this course. Chemistry students will use the text Discovering Design with Chemistry by Jay L. Wise and integrates history of Chemistry, real-world exercises, and modern day applications.
